Christopher has been handling and training dogs since 2003. Initially he trained in New England before moving to Northern California in 2012. He has trained with the Menlo Park Schutzhund Club, the Hells Kitchen Schutzhund Club, and currently the Alameda County Schutzhund Club. Christopher has competed in numerous United Schutzhund Clubs of America club trials with not only his personal dogs but also clients dogs.
At the 2017 USCA Working Dog Championship, Christopher received the "High Scoring First Time Handler" at a National event award with Sirius v. Donau-Ries.
At the 2018 AWDF Championship, Christopher placed 7th with Sirius v. Donau-Ries which made him second alternation for Team USA at the 2018 FCI IPO World Championship held in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy.
At the 2019 USCA Nationals, Christopher placed 1st with Sirius v. Donau-Ries.

Sirkus tied in overall points 94-97-96 (total 287) with Sean O'Kane at the 2017 USCA Working Dog Championship. He received High Scoring HOT (Handler Owned and Trained), High Scoring Northwest Region, and High Scoring Obedience.
Sirkus received 271 points at the 2018 AWDF Championship.
Sirius received 277 points (93-94-90) at the 2019 USCA Nationals. He was named the 2019 USCA Nationals Champion. He received High Scoring HOT, High Scoring Northwest Region, High Scoring Breed Survey, and High Scoring USA Bred.
